Driving into London? Here's how to make sure your next car won't cost you a daily charge.
What is ULEZ?
The Ultra Low Emission Zone covers all London boroughs. Cars that don't meet the emissions standards pay a daily charge to drive inside it.
Which cars are compliant?
- Petrol: Euro 4 or later — most petrol cars from 2006 onwards.
- Diesel: Euro 6 — most diesel cars registered from September 2015.
- Electric: always compliant.
Every car on our site carries a ULEZ badge based on its emissions standard and age. Always confirm the registration with the official TfL checker before buying.
